All of Megan Thee Stallion’s Marvelous Manicures In One Place
We’ve long exalted Megan Thee Stallion for her expertly laid lace fronts that always look melted with the utmost precision, but her creativity and experimentation extend to her manicures as well. If you’ve been paying any attention to The Hot Girl Captain, then you’ve probably noticed her myriad of long acrylic nail sets, often in a pointed lipstick shape.
You might have also noticed that she’s even established a signature pose for her “nailfies” with her manicured fingers splayed across her glorious behind (a clever way to showcase the booty and impeccable nail art, if you ask us). With each nail set she posts, it becomes clearer that she pulls inspiration from a variety of sources, like the latest anime she’s binging or something as seemingly mundane as thermal imaging. She works closely with Los Angeles-based nail artist Coca Michelle, who has been responsible for many of the sculpted works of art we love from Thee Stallion.
For 2021’s spooky season alone, we swear Meg switched her nails faster than she changes her wigs, which is an impressive feat. It’s almost impossible to keep up with all the fire nail-art designs she does, so here at Allure, we decided to compile some of the best ones she’s had. Without further ado, peruse this lengthy article with almost every single manicure Meg Thee Stallion has debuted in 2021.
For her first official nailfie of 2022, Thee Stallion popped out with a silver, glittery manicure. On February 7, she shared photos of the nails on the seventh slide of an Instagram carousel. She posed with the nails positioned right on her hip so you can see the nails in their full glory. In true Meg fashion, her nails are long and in a lipstick shape. Her hands are decked out in icy jewelry that matches this sparkly manicure so well.
Real Graduate Girl Shit
For those unaware, the Hot Girl Captain has been a legit college student in the midst of touring, creating her music, and being an overall bad bitch. To celebrate her 2021 graduation, she posted a cute photo set of her blinged-out graduation cap and burgundy-and-silver nails. The manicure is inspired by Texas Southern University, where she took part-time classes.
Thee Stallion started off the spooky season 2021 strong with these vampire teeth nails. The white manicure was sculpted into two different shapes: the pinky and index fingers have a stiletto shape, while the middle and ring fingers have a coffin shape to resemble vampire fangs. The blood-red polish dripped on the tips of the stiletto nails tips really brings the whole manicure together.
The 2021 spooky season was busy for Michelle as she created so many fire nail sets for the rapper. In just one week, Meg posted three different Halloween-inspired manicures, and she didn’t let up as the month of October continued. One of our favorites was this dark sculpted set featuring Venom from the Spider-Man franchise with his tongue out on the middle finger. Michelle’s attention to detail here was sublime.
Hot in Here
We don’t know what’s hotter in this picture, Megan’s cobalt blue, thermal imaging-inspired manicure or her flawless glam makeup? Either way, we are obsessed with both. The colorful mismatched blobs on each nail mimicked thermal imaging scans so damn well. The thermal imaging nail-art trend has been all over Instagram and Thee Stallion’s version of it looked phenomenal.
Thee Stallion chose to match her nails to this vibrant red Versace print, and we love the cohesion. Michelle really excelled at replicating the striped print on the nails, especially the vibrant teal streaks. We’re almost upset that we didn’t get to see the whole look from head to toe, but these stunning selfies are more than good enough for us.
Toward the end of summer 2021, Thee Stallion seemed to be living her best life on a beach, and that’s when she decided to try out a new length and shape. Her nails are usually in a lipstick or coffin shape and long as hell, but on August 19, she posted a medium-length set in a square shape. The flowers and lined designs on this manicure gave such ’90s vibes, and the pastel color palette was made for vacationing.
Remix the French
Modern twists to French manicures (aka the American manicure) have been all over Instagram, and Meg has certainly done a few. We especially love the baby blue version she debuted on February 12. This manicure incorporated two popular trends (French tips and jelly nails) with a pastel blue base and a sheer blue tip. Of course, she gave this manicure Thee Stallion treatment with a lipstick shape and her signature pose.
Real Dweeb Hours
There’s no denying that Meg is an anime fan because she’s done so many nail sets inspired by her favorite shows. These Demon Slayer-inspired nails were truly a sight to see. The black-and-green checkered print from the titular character Tanjiro’s robes were present on the thumb, index, and pinky fingers on both hands. In the photo above, on the middle and ring fingers, we see Tanjiro’s strained face on the left hand and his sister’s pink eyes and robes represented on the right. It was a perfect tribute to the show.
The blue and purple hues in these color-shifting nails were just breathtaking. We love the iridescent effect these nails had and just know the colors looked phenomenal IRL as they shifted in the light. In this post, Meg blessed fans with another manicure set that featured a light, cloudy blue hue with graphic silver decals. One nail on each hand was pierced with two tiny silver rings to complete the edgy look.
Whole World In Her Hands
These galaxy-inspired nails were incredibly detailed. On top of that pitch-black polish, Michelle managed to create an entire mini universe on each hand with pastel and neon hues. She even bedazzled the planetary nails with a few tiny iridescent gems between the planets.
Thee Stallion had fun with the 3D decals in this multicolored graphic set. There was a wonderful mix of nail art designs here with flowers, tiny hearts, stars, and zebra print that somehow all came together in this pastel manicure. And the blue Ring Pop? A stellar complementing accessory.
Tilting the Scales
These long nails were sculpted into a lipstick shape with a transparent tangerine orange hue. The jelly nails looked good on their own but, of course, they had to be elevated with silver pieces. These slivers of silver almost resembled scales with how they were placed next to each other.
If these manicures weren’t enough indication that Megan Thee Stallion is the Queen of Nail Art, then I don’t know what is. Consider all of these permanently bookmarked for any upcoming nail appointments.
