Spring is in full bloom, and what better way to delight in the wonders of the season than to visit a flower shop or market? In Paris, there’s an abundance of gorgeous flower shops to choose from. Spring is the ideal time for visiting Paris, and if you’re going to be there this time of year, you’ll definitely want to add “flower shopping” to your list of things to do in Spring in Paris.
Here are some of our favorite florists found in this magical city. Marché aux Fleurs
The vibrant and color-popping Marché aux Fleurs (which, in French, means “flower market”), rests on Île de la Cité, one of the two islands in Paris. It’s also the oldest flower market in Paris, dating all the way back to 1808. Not only is it one of the oldest, but it’s one of the largest, too. You’ll find everything to sate your floral fantasies here. (Note that the famous Marché aux Oiseaux, or bird market, is no longer operating).
