The Spring/Summer ’23 GUESS USA collection, a brand division of GUESS? Inc., will debut this week in Paris at 3537. Designed by Nicolai Marciano, the new collection is a continuation of the evolving GUESS USA image, with Eli Russell Linnetz spearheading all photography and advertising and Slam Jam overseeing distribution. Each piece is designed in a way that allows Nicolai to express his take on the brand’s evolution over the last 40 years. The collection is hand-crafted and showcases various stonewashed garments, paired with sun fading abrasions. Intricate details such as vintage patchwork and hand tinting are detail points contributing to the elevated yet nostalgic feel, re-imagining the Americana storyline. Nicolai states, “this line is a true blend of all the previous eras of GUESS. We’ve referenced pieces from each decade, including the early 2000’s.” He continued, “bringing each era together is something we’ve never done before. We have re-established an attitude and image that celebrates GUESS’s iconography.” The GUESS USA Spring/Summer 2023 collection will range from $45 to $1,500 and will be available next year at Slam Jam, GUESS USA ecommerce, and select wholesale partners.
