Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Went as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee For Halloween
We had a feeling Megan Fox and her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly were planning something big for Halloween weekend, and folks, we were right! The couple decided to pay homage to one of the most iconic ’90s couples of all time, Pamela Anderson and her ex-husband, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
The couples’ costume makes total sense, given that MGK actually played Tommy in Netflix’s adaptation of The Dirt a few years ago. Pamela, Tommy and their ’90s style are also having a moment in the spotlight thanks to the Hulu series Pam & Tommy; a quick scroll through TikTok will have you recreating Pam’s messy curled updo in no time.
Of course, sculpted ’90s makeup is key to recreating Anderson’s look, and Fox turned to makeup artist Jenna Kristina to help her channel the Baywatch bombshell. “Megan is the ultimate bombshell, so this transformation was an easy one,” says Jenna. “Once the costumes and the specific look was decided, Megan and I pulled every reference photo we could find to make sure we knew exactly how we could bring the look to life with a modern spin.” The look they landed on was pure Anderson goodness: a smoky eye, rose pink lips and matching blush and voluminous bright blonde hair with bangs, plus a pink and burgundy latex halter minidress. “Megan was Pam with her own modern twist: a perfectly sculpted face, glowy skin and a juicy lip.”
Jenna used all NUDESTIX products to transform Fox into Anderson, and her lips were essential to nailing the vibe. “Pamela was known for her pink blush and lip liner, and as ’90s babe, she always used a liner that was darker than her lipstick, so we wanted to stay true to that,” explains Jenna. “I used the Magnetic Matte Lip Color in Boho to line her lips, then filled them in with the Lip Glace in Nude 6 to give her juicy Pam-inspired lips.”
Fox and Anderson both have great bone structure and a bombshell allure, so turning Fox into Anderson wasn’t too much of a stretch. Jenna also reached for Tinted Blur Sculpt Stick in Medium, which she says was “crucial to contour her face to reflect Pam’s iconic features.” Nudies Bloom Blush in Cherry Blossom Babe, Nudies Glow Highlighter Stick in Ice Ice Baby and Magnetic Eyeshadow Pencil in Pink Seychelles shaped the glam eye and those flushed cheeks. As for MGK, he leaned into Lee’s look with cropped dark hair, a hint of eyeliner and some facial scruff.
