BARCELONA FASHION WEEK 2022

The 28th of October 2022 marked the final day of the 30th 080 Barcelona fashion week.
Throughout this fashion week the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, become Barcelona’s catwalk.
This year the week of fashion was more than just frivolous. Featuring a strong emphasis on the environment, spurring circular fashion and technological innovation with its 080 Reborn initiative.
Opening the final day was 080 Reborn, afashion show organized by the Waste Agency of Catalonia, the CCAM, and Girbau LAB. The collection created by Fermin+Gilles used clothes recovered from textile waste sorting plants and second-hand shops raising awareness about the durability of garments.
Another label focused on slow fashion at BFW this year was HABEY CLUB, at its core is craftsmanship, sustainability, and responsible production, focusing on the reuse of fabrics and the use of recycled or 100% organic fibers.
